About this destination

The Blooms Garden is an ornamental garden attraction in the Batusesa area of Candikuning, Baturiti, Tabanan. It suits visitors who enjoy designed landscapes, colourful planting, and relaxed photography in Bali’s highlands. The experience centres on arranged garden spaces and decorative features, so it offers a different reason to stop from a forest walk or a botanical collection.

Exploring the themed gardens

The operator identifies several named areas, including the Welcome Garden, Dutch Garden, Garden of Love, Topiary Barong, Goddess of the Lake Garden, Oval Garden, and Peacock Garden. Together they provide a sequence of contrasting shapes and visual themes. The Dutch Garden includes windmill-style features, while the Barong and goddess references connect parts of the design with Balinese imagery.

Allow time to look beyond the main photo position at each stop. Notice how hedges, paths, planting beds, and larger structures guide the view. Different visitors will prefer different sections, so a flexible walk is more satisfying than treating every themed area as a compulsory photograph to reproduce.

Flowers, weather, and expectations

A garden changes with planting schedules and weather. Promotional images show particular moments, not a guarantee that every bed will be flowering in the same colours on your visit. If a specific floral display is the main reason for travelling, ask the operator about its current condition before booking transport.

Highland conditions can also change the feel of a day outdoors. Bring a light layer and rain protection, and choose footwear suitable for walking on damp paths. If rain arrives, pause rather than stepping into planting beds to avoid puddles. Keep the route adaptable, especially when travelling with children or anyone who needs frequent rests.

Photography and garden etiquette

The layouts invite photographs, but the best results do not require damaging the planting. Stay on approved paths, avoid picking flowers, and leave decorative structures as you found them. Wait your turn at narrow photo spots instead of holding an entire section while arranging a long sequence of poses.

Ask in advance about commercial photography, large equipment, costumes, and drones. Ordinary admission does not automatically include permission for a professional shoot or unrestricted aerial filming. When sharing images, describe the area accurately rather than presenting an ornamental display as an untouched natural landscape.

Optional activities and facilities

The operator advertises additional experiences such as shuttle tours, ATV activities, group games, dining, and accommodation. These should be checked separately from garden admission. Ask about reservations, operating conditions, age or participation requirements, and exactly what your ticket includes before choosing an add-on.

A shuttle may help some visitors cover the grounds, but it should not be assumed to provide a fully step-free route to every feature. If accessibility matters, ask about boarding, drop-off points, walking surfaces, and the distance from those points to toilets and the areas you most want to see. Clear questions are more useful than a general request to confirm that the garden is accessible.

A manageable Bedugul itinerary

Lake Beratan and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple provide nearby alternatives for a broader highland day, while Bali Botanic Garden offers a separate experience focused on plant collections and larger grounds. Choose the combination that matches your interests rather than adding every garden and lake stop to one schedule.

For families, the ornamental garden and one additional destination may be enough, particularly if you book an activity or a meal. Leave time for changing weather and the drive back from the highlands. The aim is to enjoy the garden’s individual spaces without spending the visit watching the departure time.
