WHAT IS YOUR IDENTITY? (Bali, January 01, 2010)
Through great memories and happiness with strands of dreams and hopes to get better on next year is life story in 2009. So many moments occurred during last year leading to a growing mind and develop life strategy in the New Year. At the turn of the year 2009 with beautifully fireworks canopy for about 30 minutes count down, mind drifted into a kaleidoscope slide of life in 2009, think about being Balinese woman who lived in Bali with the status of Balinese woman called “Luh”, is a status to mean “Perempuan or Wanita” in Indonesian. Given this term brings memories into pieces of a Balinese local newspaper published on Sunday, December 20, 2009, written on page with the theme titled “Apresiasi” where there was a Balinese man wrote a deep appreciation on the column titled “Luh: Perempuan Bergelar Air Mata …”.
Become a banality as the Balinese to recognize the word “Luh” which usually carried by the name of a woman who is generally a first child or children or as a fifth child or multiples of it in Balinese family. The word “Luh” not only used as the article in front of girls or woman name but also used to distinguish the status of Women and Men in the Balinese culture. Also mentioned that “Luh, Luah, Lua” was a lead towards to the meaning of “flow” or “a river”, where the sense of these word are identically associated with the sentimental side of a woman which is “Air Mata” or “tears”. The word “Luh” often found in the ancient Balinese literature called “Kekawin”, where an ancient poet or author to extremity describing “Women”. Forms of this feeling is very common owned by a woman; happiness, sadness, helplessness, heart breaking, toughness, and others sentimental feelings, and almost none of these character is described by man’s, but did not rule out that the man also may have had tears as such an expression in their life. Also in ancient Balinese literature often mentioned “Jaya Waspa” which means “Jaya atas Air Mata” or “Victory of Tears” and described as a Woman in which on her social strata have an obligation to serve “A Master”. A woman who is written as “Menang atas Air Mata” or “Win in fighting against Tears”, is The Woman who had won in fighting against a “not free” life struggle, an indispensable struggle achieved with overpriced life experience. This woman described as a “Master” in the field of tears written descriptively on ancient literature then on which became appearing a question, whether this “Women” with the greatness title of “Luh” was forced transition meaning from “Air Mata” to “Perempuan” in Balinese culture.
A discovery moment on this article in 2009 has given a pride as one of the “Women” termed “Luh or Lua” in Balinese culture, a historical inspiration for greatness identity meaning and able to bring deep comprehension that being a Woman is a worthy task interpreted as the title characterized by a Woman with greatness title of “Luh”.
Lets give a meaning to this inspiring moment, as a commitment in the year 2010 !!!.
Happy New Year 2010

TODAY IS TODAY; DIFFERENCE OF CONSISTENCY & COMMITMENT (Bali, 30 June 2009)
When you already pointed to one choice in your life, then you have to take any of its consequences. Go through a period of one choice till you finished all its obligations and responsibilities will approving your consistency, this statement is what I try to raise & improve in my life. A consistency is act of approving the quality of being consistent, approving for always following the same pattern or the same style in one required period. Sometime do not need a personal commitment as a pattern or style reference, mean that when somebody give one pattern for you to be follow then you have to undergo of it.
Me, myself is not a person who loves to make a commitment. I can do a list on my agenda as a written commitment, but never to do something to give a meaning of one list is what I call a footnote. A commitment is a thing one has promised to do, sound like never end to one period of time. Once you let your commitment sleep under your chair is like permitting inconsistency come to your life.
If says in short word, a commitment is emphasizing to a noun as a goal to be reach in a particular time, while a consistency is pointed to an act for achieving one commitment. So what are you going to choose?: a promise or a work?.
This blog is one of my favourite spot to gain my consistency point, of course among others footnotes on my agenda. Balifinder is a theme that given by this blog as a commitment to promotes Bali as my nativity, once you open this blog, you will discover that Bali has a unique atmosphere compare to other places around the world. I believe that writing an articles of those unique part is a realism of my consistency in achieving this blog commitment.
At the end, I hope that you will found such an interesting topic on this blog & hopefully give you a good comprehension about Bali.
Thanks,
